The used production process ensures a high biological value, an excellent amino acid profile with high amounts of BCAAs and glutamine. We have reached impressive nutritional values, with 25.8g of protein, 0.7g of Carbohydrates, 0.4g of fat and 109kcal per shake.
We have also achieved to replace the commonly used soy lecithin with lecithin from sunflowers.
What is Casein? Differences to Whey?
Casein is also well known as night protein or slow digestive protein and belongs to the most popular and most used nutritional supplements in the fitness industry.
A major difference between Casein and Whey is in its valorization. The body absorbs Casein slower than Whey. Its amino acids are continuously delivered to the blood circulation over a longer period of time. After drinking Casein, it takes about 6 to 8 hours until the amino acid level has reached its maximum in the body’s blood cycle, which means that muscles are being supplied with protein over a longer period of time.
Whey on the other hand is absorbed very quickly. The amino acid level in the blood circulation reaches its maximum after approximately 20 to 40 minutes. This translates into a quick but transient increase in protein synthesis, which means that the muscles are being supplied with protein very fast.
